"Top Pilot" is a window directly into the data available at
Meta-Wing. This should not be seen as a claim of the "best" pilot available. Meta Wing collates data from List Juggler, and results will be based more on what is meta, rather than what is "good" (although there's usually a reason that said pilot is proving popular). The example here shows that Lowhhrick was, at the time, considered the top pilot based on proliferation and performance. Being part of a list that has come close to winning a couple of large tournaments lately will rank higher than a pilot higher that has won a couple of small local tournaments, for example. It's useful to see which pilot is making waves lately. Not least because it can encourage players to have a go with something new. Top Archetype

Rather than specific pilots, however, this is a view to a particular combination of ships that is currently making waves in the tournament scene.
